Her eyes were squeezed shut as she thrashed around in the bed. I gently took her wrists in my hand so she didn't hurt herself and I straddled her legs, without putting any weight, so I hovered over her. "Calm down, tesoro. (treasure.)" I placed my free hand back on her cheek and wiped away the flowing tears with my thumb. She was breathing heavy and I kissed her forehead comfortingly. "Non preoccuparti, tesoro.
