[Danganronpa V3 Spoilers]
A series of short imagines exploring my headcanons about my favorite avocado man, Rantaro, having to do with his backstory and how he would have interacted and functioned in the DR story had chapter 1 not happened. There may be some light fluff, but one of my main hcs is Rantaro being demiromantic / ace. A lot of these won't be in the setting of the Ultimate Academy, but all of these story parts coexist in the same AU.

There's a catch though, Hajime isn't really like the others; he doesn't have an ultimate. Because of that, he thinks the others might look down on him. But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. He believes since Hajime doesn't have a talent, he's not valid like everyone else and decides to put him down for something he can't control. Hajime just wants to be friends with everyone, but because this inconvenience he's very insecure about being around the others, and distances himself. Then Kazuichi Souda and Chiaki Nanami decide to include him since they feel bad, they just want him to be happy. Hajime starts to open up a bit after hanging out with them a lot, maybe with this new confidence he can get that one stubborn student to finally like him. Tldr; smut, fluff, complex story ;) Pregame universe; Shuichi Saihara is an upstanding kid with a defensive aura, he's well liked and keeps okay grades. He's usually well dressed and wears a hat 24/7, his silky blue-ish black hair hidden beneath it. He has a few admirers and is definitely more popular than Kokichi; A kid who keeps to himself. He has good grades because Atua forbid his parents find out he brought home anything less than an A, not that they'd be home much to see it. This is shown in his outward appearance, including slightly messy hair, usually a bandaid or two somewhere on his body to cover up a bruise or a gash made by unfriendly hands, and the traditional 2nd year school uniform as opposed to the 3rd, like Shuichi. Shuichi has a best friend named Rantaro Amami, a self-fulfilled prophecy of sorts. His dad was an unsightly character, beating on his mom constantly before being locked in jail. Rantaro is overly protective, inquisitive, and very.. Observant? He seems like an average kid to others, but if you get caught in one of his "stares"- Well.. You're not getting away from it. His light lime green hair is fluffy and well kept, and he wears a 3rd year uniform like his peers. He also has quite a few piercings- Most of which Shuichi was around for. Join these three as they battle with their emotions, questioning themselves every step of the way. Will they have a happy ending, Kokichi and Shuichi becoming Star-Crossed Lovers?
