Natsu and Lucy used to be best friends, and eventually they became sweethearts in middle school. However, Natsu broke Lucy's heart and the two if them lost contact for a long period of time. Thanks to a twist of fate, they both re-encounter each other in high school. Unfortunately, Lucy has a little difficulty with the concept "Forgive and Forget" and refuses to accept Natsu's apology.
