"Being shot in the head will teach you two very important things about life.

The first thing it teaches you is that you're tempting fate when you take a shortcut on your delivery route through a graveyard. When you're already surrounded by the dead and buried, sometimes there are people who want to help you feel at home, with a 9mm hunk of lead right through your noggin.

And the second thing that it teaches you is that, when the finky bastard in the checkered suit who pulled the nine on you is dumb enough to show you his face, you'd better remember it -- just in case you survive, harboring one killer headache and a hankering for some good, old-fashioned vigilante justice."

Meet Nevada Morgan: a 22 year-old Mojave Express courier-turned-gunslinger with a lifelong streak of bad luck. Tired of losing in life and with a hunger for revenge, she'll do whatever it takes to track down what she's lost -- and for Nevada, there's no price too high.

For Nevada, it's all or nothing.

Prologue War... War never changes... When the bombs fell during the Great War in 2077, and atomic fire consumed the earth, those who survived did so in giant vaults. When these vaults finally their inhabitants set out across ruins of the old world to build new societies, establish new villages, forming tribes. As decades passed, what had been the American Southwest united beneath the flag of the New California Republic, dedicated to old-world values of democracy and the rule of law. As the Republic grew, so did its needs. Scouts spread east, seeking territory and wealth, in the dry and merciless expanse of the Mojave Desert. They returned with tales of a city untouched by the warheads that had scorched the rest of the world. And a great wall spanning the Colorado River. The NCR mobilized its army and sent it east to occupy the Hoover Dam and restore it to working condition. But across the Colorado, another society had arisen under a different flag. A vast army of slaves, forged from the conquest of 86 tribes: Caesar's Legion. Four years have passed since the Republic held the Dam - just barely - against the Legion's onslaught. The Legion did not retreat. Across the river, it gathers strength. Campfires burned, and training drums beat. Through it all, the New Vegas Strip has stayed open for business under the control of its mysterious overseer, Mr. House, and his army of rehabilitated Tribals and police robots. While all this was going on two people lived their lives. Loona, a hellhound and slave of Vulpes Inculta dragged to Nipton as her master made plans to destroy to town. And a courier working for the Mojave Express, who had been selected to deliver the Platinum Chip only to be caught by a man named Benny and left for dead in the Goodsprings Cemetery. Little did anyone know, but these two unassuming people would come together and be to ones to change to fate of the entire Mojave Wasteland... I do not own Helluva boss of Fallout New Vegas.

In the process of finding out the unique story behind it he meets a woman. He can't decide if this woman's presence in the same desolate, snow covered wilderness as he and the gang are in is mere coincidence or if there's more behind it than she's letting on. If it is pure coincidence that she's there than what is she doing alone on this frozen mountain? Whatever has brought her into his life he isn't sure but what he does know is he can't get her image out of his mind. Summary: A story hidden in the past, no one really knows how Arthur and Eliza met. Despite its tragic ending, it had a beginning. One of love, hope, and an unknown future. Eliza Bloom was young and alone, recently made an orphan, and was merely trying to get by. Keeping any hopes and dreams that she once had tucked away, she worked long days as a waitress in the blossoming town's only restaurant in the wild, untamed West. Not being able to enjoy any of the pleasures a young woman was afforded, she had little time to socialize or see what the world had to offer. However, when a caravan of gold prospectors came into the town, she meets a tall, handsome stranger. She does not have any inclination as to how such an event, which was commonplace at her place of work, would change her life...and his. This is fanfiction expounding on the lore within Red Dead Redemption. I do not own the original characters or own Read Dead Redemption, which have been created by Rockstar. Eliza (Bloom) and Isaac are both my interpretations of the characters, as they were only lightly mentioned within the course of the second installment of the game's franchise. Alice Ford, Bethy, and additional characters that add depth to the story are my own creation. The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this literary work are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred. Please note: not every installment is "mature," however, this is a fair warning that the themes in this story are appropriate for only mature audiences.
