It's 2045, the radiation has...Finally...Settled down? It was rather strange. But. Chernobyl can become a living space again! The government moved everyone in quickly, people flocked to be chosen to live in this new place. The government had already said they'd taken care of the wild animals by building a fence, taken care of the homes by building new buildings. Everything seemed fine! But...Why did the old man ramble? Saying he saw the missing kid Mikhail in the woods? Dead? The old man...He was labelled crazy, but then...Why do these incidents happen one after another? Each one labelled crazier then the last...Well I suppose we'll be kept safe by the Mechs...

They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world?? 100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind?
