Two strangers, Shea and Miles, meet on a late night cross country flight. Shea, is a former journalist/current substitute teacher leaving Ohio on a mission to get herself together. She's overworked, distracted and all around confused about next steps. Shea, through chance, ends up making it on to an oversold flight and gets stuck in the last available seat on the plane, next to Miles, who is headed home to Punta Gorda, Florida to visit his dying father. After a bit of back and forth, the pair connect in a special way making this a flight neither one of them would ever forget.
