Monsters. Vampires, werewolves, witches, shapeshifters. You name it, my family deals with it. But not me. 

I got out of the family business. 

I'm a normal, unassuming twenty-three-year-old bank teller from Southeastern Kentucky. I don't help monsters get new identities, or point them in the direction of ne'er-do-wells whom no one would miss if they're looking for an easy meal. Nope. I go to work, go for a drink at the local bar, then go home. That's it. 

Until I begrudgingly agree to do a job for a ridiculous amount of money. 

It was supposed to be a simple gig; pick up a package out of state and deliver it in Ky. That was it. But no! No, things can't ever be that simple, can they? Now I've got an ancient vampire for a stalker, a pissed off cousin, and a slew of supernatural creatures breathing down my neck.  

Between the mountains and monsters, I think I'd take the Appalachian Mountains with their rough terrain and dangerous animals any day of the week. At least they'd be more forgiving than the creatures that rallied for my hide.All Rights Reserved
