All Abigail ever wanted was to please her parents and finally get their approval. She got straight A's and was the perfect student. All that changed the summer before freshman year. She turned into the exact opposite. Sophomore year A new student arrived, Ryder. That day he had walked into the girls changing room and found Abigail changing. He watched for a while before making himself known to her. Later that night Abigail got a text from an unknown number. It was of her in the changing room. Everything pointed to Ryder. It's now a week before senior year and Abigail is about to get the proof she needs to prove it was Ryder. The thing is ever since that day Ryder has proclaimed his innocents. Turns out what Abigail thought was going to prove him guilty proves he was innocent. Now Abigail has two questions on her mind. If not Ryder, who took the pic? And Why was it taken to look like Ryder did it? To figure it out, Abigail needs help from the person who hates her guts. Will he be willing to help to clear his name, or does his hate for Abigail prove stronger than his want to clear his name?

Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.
