The day before Christmas

Tyler Nelson is a 17 year teen left alone by her mother with her 8 year little sister Casey Nelson in a world fully of a deadly cannibalistic virus that where called zombies, there where looked in a big basement where a tragedy happened before, the don't have that many food for a few more days, so they have to find a way to get out of that place. They don't know what's on the other side of the big steal door or what happened and once they do they'll be running for there lives, eventually they'll meet new people that maybe they will help them, Tyler doesn't know if her little sister will be strong enough to survive or if she puts her sister in danger, she made a promise to her mother before she left, that she will always keep Casey close to her and protect her.
Will there be more tragedies such as death? Romances? Enemies? Wars? Is Tyler capable to protect her sister all the time? Will there be a cure? Powers? Side effects?
