Grian was the head scientist of project [Redacted]. Something went terribly wrong and now, he was on the run. From not only the clutches of the government, but from the fleshless hands of the haunted corpses.
With betrayal around every corner, would he be able to outrun the mastermind behind it all or would he succumb to the relentless waves of the undead, all coming after his head?

Enlightened (a Hermitcraft AU)
Grian has started getting weird dreams as of late. Dreams about living on a different island with different friends with different things going on around him. Dreams that are filled with bloodshed and betrayal. Finding himself remembering things from lives he didn't know he lived up until this point, Grian struggles to contribute to the Boatem Village and to work on his base. He still stocks up the G-Train and does his best to act as if nothing was wrong when among his friends, of course, but that didn't stop him from wondering what else he couldn't remember and whether or not he should let his friends know of the lie they are living in. Time is ticking, the land is changing and Grian soon finds out that he may not have as much time as he thought he did in his new life.Concluída

~The hermits had huddled around a large hole in the ground. At the bottom of the hole sat two people. One had bright orange hair with a face full of freckles and what seemed to be antlers sticking out of her hair. The other was facing away from Grian and was wearing a plain grey jacket with the hood pulled up over their head. They turned and met the builders gaze and time seemed to slow to a stop. Grian couldn't believe what he was seeing. He was standing face to face with a dead person~ Grian left Evo and joined the watchers, whom he then betrayed and in turn, they destroyed Evo and everyone in it. But that's not where the story ends, because when season 8 of hermitcraft rolls around, Grian is shocked to see a familiar face. But what he doesn't know is that this familiar face is there for a reason. Because the watchers wanted Grian back. But then a horrifying infection begins to spread, the likes of which the Hermits have never seen before. Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want. Grian is just a normal hermitcraft guy. He goes around pranking people and having fun, always with a good personality. But then something joins the server, determined to dig into Grians mind and change him forever. Grian starts hearing a voice in the back of his head. It gets deeper into his past, digging out power and an unsettling courage to corrupt things around him. Even though he already had a nag for friendly distruction this is a whole different situation. The voice is telling him to hurt hermits. Change hermits. Kill hermits. NPC Grian has come for revenge, and Grian is finding himself swayed by the voice. (This is not an Evo story although it will have mentions that Grian has been an admin. The watchers have nothing at all to do with this story, just the fact Grian has been an admin and knew some things he has forgotten. This story takes place in season 7.
