Shinobu Kocho will never wipe from her memories the face of a betrayed man. Specially when it comes to Him. Those blue eyes that she cherishes so much refused to believe what that man said, they trembled and teared up. His hands became heavy and his throat couldn't produce a single sound.
"And you know what?" Sanemi exploded into a maniac laughing "IT WAS SO FUCKING WORTHY, LOOK AT YOUR FACE."
Shinobu tried to say something, anything or whatever word she could blabber. But it never came. That pained expression, those hurt eyes that reflected his shattered heart. How could she say something to him? She already lied enough.
"Is that true, Kocho?" A snicker escaped his trembling lips as Giyu tried to keep his voice from breaking "That is just one of your jokes, right? Right...?"
Shinobu felt a tear rolling down her cheek. She couldn't deny it anymore.
She was the real monster.

A coming of age story placed after chapter 205 so spoilers ahead. Shinobu sees Giyuu as a little brother, especially since he's five years younger than her. However, for some reason, whenever she looks at him, she's reminded of someone. Someone who she loved very dearly. However, no matter how much he reminds her of someone, she can't fall in love with him. It wouldn't be fair to both him and to that person. On the flip side, Giyuu has been hopelessly in love with Shinobu and has been trying for years to get her to see him as a man rather than a little brother. However, she's always one step ahead of him and he's always chasing after her. Five years is a large gap and it doesn't help that she doesn't want to see him in any other way. Sanemi Shinazugawa, a student athlete, who loves basketball and studying. He was somewhat liked but had some issues with keeping people close by in the past due to his anger issues, he was quick to lash out but he didn't mean it, so he often kept to himself to avoid this. Out of school he was himself, the punk emo rock kid. He hid himself becuase in the past he was made fun of for being "too much" so he locked that part up at school so no one could see it. He did have a few hobbies but he loved to ride his skateboard while listening to music. One day, these two boys opposites of the same coin magiacally ran into each other. No. Literally ran into each other. Coming to the same corner they crashed into each other. They instantly started to yell at each other. Sanemi was less banged up from the crash, he had some scrapes but no blood. Giyuu on the other hand was only bleeding. From his nose and both his knees. Sanemi realized Giyuu was in pain and through Giyuu's complaints he helped him to a conveince store Giyuu pounted and avoided Sanemi's line of sight as Sanemi healed his wounds, Giyuu regonized Sanemi and he didn't want Sanemi to realize who he was, but it was too late, Sanemi had ran into Giyuu that same day and remembered him.
