Two brothers forced to act against their wills, lest their river village collapse and broiled under a metal dome summoned by Shacklers-a type of Baylan who can manipulate steels with a swish and flick of their hands.

Under a Blood Contract they were sent into The Gilded Palace, one of the Seven Vaults of the Tres Imperyo. Thicks walls, heavily armed guards, and the unknown. But Sarion and Alain were not any ordinary brothers; for they share an ability which lifts them a leverage in their mission.

However, when they had 'procured' the item, it seemed Sarion had lost more than gained in a fortnight.

Now the item rests in his hands. The lives of the people in his village, in his hands. Everything was in his blood-stained hands.

In the fractured land of Nerathys, where humans and spirit-bound warriors once fought side by side, a fragile peace is maintained by ancient magic. The heir to the empire's throne of the empire Caelthar, Prince Kael, is taken captive after a failed rebellion. Instead of being executed, he is given as a blood-bound servant to Lord Arion, the cold and ruthless commander of the empire's ghostbound armies - soldiers fused with the souls of the dead. But Arion is not what he seems. Bound to a ghost named Lyra, he's cursed with both immense power and a growing madness. When Kael is forced to serve him, he discovers the truth: Arion's soul is fading, and only Kael's bloodline magic can keep him tethered to the world. As Kael struggles to survive, he discovers a terrifying truth: only his bloodline magic can keep Arion-and the empire itself-from unraveling. Will Kael make it out alive? Will he build a relationship of trust and friendship with the Lord or perhaps even something more? Or will it be the ruin of the only chance of fixing what should be right? *** Contains violence, strong language, and other mature themes. Read on your own risk! Signs From The Universe (bxb)

51 parts Complete Mature

Alex has been looking for a sign from the universe. A sign to tell him that he needs to keep fighting. To live on for his brother who died in a tragic car accident. When Alex stumbles across a man in town wearing a blindfold, holding a sign that says, 'You are not alone. If you need a talk or a hug. I am here.' He takes it upon himself to approach the stranger. Was this the sign he has been looking for? - River has been a mental health advocate for three years. With his own demons battled, he takes it upon himself to support others. More specifically strangers. He has always found peace in helping those who suffer in silence. When River is approached by a man who expresses his depressive tendencies, he decides to take the broken stranger for coffee, out of fear of what might happen if he lets him go. River tells him to offload, release all the sadness and frustration he has into someone who knows nothing about him. But when he leaves, River can't stop thinking about him. It's not until Alex comes back a few months later to thank him for listening when he needed help the most. Alex has a lot to thank for his signs from the universe.
