"Do you know why wild flowers are so lovely?" he said. My gaze was locked on the outside of the cafe window, watching the cars drive by. I was listening but couldn't find the courage to look at him. The only thing coming from me that allowed him to even know I heard what he said was a small, "hmm". "They grow in the places other flowers couldn't. Where other flowers wouldnt dare to flourish in those hard rugged places. Places no one expects them too. Even when they've had enough, they disappear for a little while but soon enough they come back, even then, more beautiful than before. They never fail to show just how amazing they truelly are." I didn't move, instead I just allowed the words he had to say flutter around in my mind. They sunk in but only a few words truelly stuck out... They disappear... The sound of the bell above the cafe door pulled me from my thoughts and I finally averted my gaze back in front of me only to realize he was gone. My heart dropped and I had to blink away the tears fighting so hard to escape. As much as my head screamed to run after him, I knew I couldnt, not this time.
