Joseph Joestar is a curious mer-fellow, always looking for something to do wherever he went. He has a strange obsession with the "Surface-world" that no one could stop. As if he was connected to it somehow. One of his guilty pleasures is going up to shore to observe the surface with his prying eyes, feeling the cool wind on his scales.

He never had much of a reason to go to the surface world other than exploring and collecting trinkets, avoiding humans as much as he could. Although, one day, as he was exploring the nearby beach, he laid his eyes upon a certain blonde human who would catch his interest for the years to come.
