16 year old Danny Kegan-sorry, Amherst- moves from sunny San Diego to the quiet and rainy suburbs of Pennsylvania. Leaving behind friends and family, Danny attempts to fit in at her new school. At her new house, she meets a handsome and seemingly perfect boy named Sean who claims to now work for her and her mother as "the gardener/housekeeper/basically your slave". Sean seems to be the only positive outlook of moving away from San Diego, as there are only catty girls, impulsive mothers, hormone-driven boys, and strange old men in Danny's new neighborhood. And soon, fitting in will prove to be a nightmare when the two strange old men approach Danny, saying they can hire her for a normal job, but are hiding a secret that not even her closest peers or family members can know. A fiery, burning secret that could prove disastrous if kept away from her. And one other person is involved with this world-stopping secret. Someone Danny would not be able to live with or without. Will the secret-holding strengthen Danny, or will it tear her down?

Daisy, daughter of shining gold, in a vast mansion where her story unfolds. Surrounded by treasures yet feeling alone. A lost girl wandering in a world of glass and stone. With silken gowns and jewels that gleam, she chases shadows, forever lost in a dream. In the silence of nights, her heart starts to swell, longing for warmth within a glimmering shell. Yet deep in her heart, a flicker remains, a whisper of hope that breaks through the chains. Seeking the light at the tunnel's end to find her true self and begin to mend. *** Daisy Beaumont has always lived a life of privilege, bound by tradition and societal expectations. Raised in luxury, her future is set by the standards of her family, until she meets Riley Hunt, a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, where the streets were unforgiving, the nights restless, and dreams carried the weight of survival. Riley is nothing like the polished men Daisy is expected to marry, and yet, she is drawn to him. As their relationship grows, Daisy begins to question everything: her life, her privilege, and the person she's been told to be. With Riley, she discovers a freedom she's never known, but embracing it means breaking away from the expectations that have defined her life. Their journey is one of defiance-challenging social norms, breaking free from the constraints of tradition, and fighting against the expectations imposed by their families and society. As their connection deepens, it unfolds slowly, filled with passion and tension. Their worlds were never meant to collide. But they did. And in that collision, everything changed.

** BARNES AND NOBLE TEEN SELECTION 2015 - TOP 7 YA's THAT WILL LEAVE YOU TERRIFIED OF THE OCEAN ** "Dawson's Creek meets Jaws and The Goonies in a twisted, supernatural tale unlike anything I've ever read. I am totally addicted!" - ARC reviewer SUMMARY: Eila Walker knows luck is not a friend, so she is downright shocked to inherit a million-dollar Cape Cod home. And yeah, her new town isn't perfect: the cheerleaders are heinous clones, the local undertow can kill ya, and her Great Grams was supposedly fried by lightning in the harbor square. Still, Eila is hopeful her luckless days are in the past . . . until history decides to repeat itself. When Raef O'Reilly becomes her friendly, yet weirdly protective shadow, Eila thinks life is pretty darn perfect - until she is hauled beneath the waves by an unnatural undertow. Revealing coal-black eyes and iron-like strength as he rescues her, Raef can no longer hide what he is . . . or what she can do. Eila, last of her kind, can supposedly channel the power of human souls, while Raef is more adept at stealing them. Even worse, the legend about her ancestor isn't such a myth, since Eila's grandmother was one kick-butt warrior until her lightning-like power backfired. A power that is written all over Eila's DNA. Determined to stay one step ahead of a dangerous clan that is hunting her, Raef, along with three unlikely allies, will do all they can to protect her. But as hidden pieces of their brutal histories unravel, Eila begins to understand just what went down in the harbor square. She soon realizes that following in her grandmother's fearless footsteps may be the only way to save those she loves . . . including Raef.

43 parts Complete

Sixteen-year-old Gabriella Kilpatrick can shoot fire from her hands, which would be great if she didn't get blamed for a blazing inferno that kills 17 schoolmates. When Gabby is commanded to Manifest her Element, everyone knows what she is: a genetic abnormality. Not to mention guilty. So she does two logical things to survive. 1. She runs. 2. She hacks off her hair to assume a new role-that of "Gabe", because in her world, only boys are Firemakers. Not only does she have to act like a guy, she has to pretend to know everything a Firemaker should know. When Gabby meets Airmaster Adam Gillman, he believes her act and pledges to serve on "Gabe's" Council. But Adam has the mark of a sentry and spent years obeying Alex, the Supreme Elemental. And Alex wants Gabby-the-genetic-freak dead and gone before she can gather the magical protection of a full Council. With Adam's lies that sound like truths and rumors that Alex isn't really a Firemaker-or a man-Gabby sets out to charter a Council of her own. In order to uncover the truth, Gabby will have to learn who she can trust, how to control her own power, and most of all, how to lead a Council of Elementals, most of whom have more control over their power than she does. If she can't, she'll find herself just like those 17 schoolmates: burned and six feet under. Read the whole Elemental series, right here on Wattpad: 1. Elemental Rush 2. Elemental Hunger 3.
