In a Non-Canon timeline, all Gems made on Homeworld start out as ADORABLE little babies, like all other animals and people, but these Baby Gems are very special, on the run from Baby Jasper and her army of Baby Rubies. Wanted baby fusion, Toddler Garnet befriends a lost Baby Pearl, finds a Baby Amethyst in a Gem Kindergarten, team's up with a rejected Baby Peridot and a lonely Baby Lapis. Together, they soon find their way in Beach City, where they become friends and housemates with a happy-go-lucky baby human who's just like them named... Baby Steven Universe and his father, Greg Universe.

Together they become a colorful and very cute team of young defenders for love, friendship, exceptance and kindness as they stand up to Baby Jasper and also have a little fun along the way. 

Based on the popular Cartoon Network TV series, "Steven Universe" and inspired by the SU internet short "How Are Gems Made?", "Steven Universe and the Baby Gems" is the feature-length backstory that fans of the show wanted to see happen to the Crystal Gems. with rewritten songs, loads of heart and humor, and a BUTTLOAD of adorable moments, this is the fan-made movie novel that will have you tearing up in awe.

Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible!
