"What part of 'Leave me alone' and 'Get the fuck away from me' don't you understand?" I glare at her and she shrugged.

"I just want to be friends." She says, smiling at me.

"Does it look like I care?" I furrow my brows and she shrugs. "I don't want nor need a friend." I mumble.

She smiles softly at me, "Everyone needs a friend." 

"Well I don't, so leave me the fuck alone." I roll my eyes, reverting my attention back to the book.

"You know, you're very grumpy." 

Does she ever shut up?

"What's you name?" I ask looking down at her.

"River," She says proudly.

"River?" 

"Yes?"

"Shut up."
