Never been much of a people person with a bullshit meter that only extends so far, Reagan finds it hard to make friends. Studying and her part-time job seem to take all her time, she finds it hard to meet new people and never has the energy for it. The determination to keep her scholarships and job while in school takes its toll to even consider her love life, one at all. Each one of her ex-boyfriends and breakups has caused her to lose faith in finding anyone in college.
While in her third year of graduate school, majoring in large animal veterinary, and her job as a vet assistant at a local animal hospital, she has a lot on her plate. Plus, the pressure of her parents and the desire to make them proud, even though they seem to care less. Being on her own for so long, she's used to relying on herself and blocking out the loneliness.
As she worked hours at the rodeo arena and in the practice rounds, she was used to familiar and attracting people. Ones with cowboy hats, dirty boots, and smirks. However, one day she comes across a certain cowboy with a cocky attitude that she can't forget. His arrogant personality drives her crazy, and no matter what she does he just gets under her skin. With back and forth banter, frustrations, and unwanted attraction, life becomes even more complicated.
