Deku is hit by a new Villain's mysterious quirk when they have moved across seas for important training lessons. The Villain is quickly shot down but her quirk's affects still last.
Deku is a baby!!
Baby Deku only recognises his Kacchan. He cries until Kacchan gives him attention and cries when Kacchan leaves.
Bakugo is not only tortured by this new nuisance of motherhood, but is brought back to his days when his Deku was a small, fragile little boy who he bullied.
As Deku gets older again and the affects wear off, Bakugo can't get rid of the feeling to still protect him. Kacchan forgets that Deku can protect himself and that he isn't that fragile little boy anymore...
Unless he is.
