Fifteen years. That was how long Tomura Shigaraki endured solitude and isolation from the outside world, hidden within the tower walls. With little to no memory of his past, Tomura has been living with All for One, the parental figure Tomura only knows. But each year on his birthday, Tomura secretly watches thousands of lanterns light up the night sky.
Amazed and curious by the lanterns, Tomura sets off on an adventure with the wanted thief, Dabi, to discover the meaning behind the lanterns. Along the way, Tomura learns about the outside world and finds pieces to uncover his mysterious past.
