The Tale of Mellow; free from harshness

On one hot summer day, Maurice, who grew up in the city was brought to an old abandoned mansion that her grandmother has been taking care of. Her plans all summer was cancelled when her parents told her that she would be sent to the countryside where her grandmother is staying because she refuses to leave the place whatever it takes.

Upon arriving, curiosity grew on the young woman as she spend more days at the mansion. She couldn't help but wonder, what was the thing that's been keeping her grandmother to that place?

She noticed a room from the third floor, one that her grandmother would always visit so one night, she sneaked in to see what is inside the room but her grandmother caught her and seeing her in awe, she asked a particular question before telling her a story-

"Do you believe in the works of fate?"

-A story that made her fully understand that the attachment that her grandmother had to the mansion.
