Ascent of the Holy Blade

Raised in the frontier town of Stoneheart, Galen is unaware of his family's history as protectors of the realm, but a chance encounter with a creature out of legend changes all that. Thrown into the middle of a war the has existed since the beginning of time itself, Galen must help his uncle, a grizzled Knight of Everwatch, find the one chosen to wield the holy blade, Heaven's Justice and lead the fight against the demon-god Ahmah and his bloody thirsty gorthins.

Across the kingdom another son finds himself questioning the leadership of his father Canis, Blood King of the mighty gorthins clans. With the urging of the shaman Greytooth, Blackfur rebels against his father and with a swift coup replaces Canis as the Blood King, chosen champion of Ahmah. Equipped with a powerful weapon and the blessing of his dark god, Blackfur leads his clans across the lands seeking to claim a ancient relic that will allow Ahmah to fully enter the mortal realm.
