A crown of Iron. A kingdom of Stone. One young queen to end a tyrant king. In brokering a treaty with a foreign country, Averlee Mendoza, the Queen of Castiron, travels to Arystonia to marry its Crowned Prince. Unlike her illustratious Iron Court, the Kingdom of Stone proves to have more cracks forming in it foundation than first predicted. Although, the alliance has been forged her loyalties to the king and her new betrothed are not as she portrays. The more ugly truths she discovers the harder it becomes for Averlee to overlook to stay on task. With her growing impertinence the King begins to take interest in challenging her to see whom will bow to who. Averlee must take greater care to balance on the sharp blade of lies and treachery to keep both her head and crown. One wrong move and she could lose both. Complications arise when her lies and masks lead her to a young peasant that harbours as many secrets as she. But her arrival brings hope to the people of the oppressed nation. Rebellions form and the countrymen become divided on sticking to what has always been and what could be. Change is coming as is the unpredictable reign of the Mendoza Queen.

Four kingdoms. One Shade. One bastard prince. And one stupid crown. *~~~* Naomi Stone: Ambitious, cunning, easily excited, and prone to errors. This Shade has a plan to become the first powerful one to ever exist in Gregon's Land, but the only way to see it through is if she could convince a certain bastard that he needs her more than she needs him. Judah Locke: Clever, somewhat charming, easily agitated, and harbours a soft spot for food. This half-Shade/bastard prince would do anything to not return to his previous life as a miserable Shade. But when a certain adorable and eager female beats herself up to try and sway him to follow her on a ridiculous journey, he can't help but humour her. The adventure that these two embark on is one filled with all sorts of wild dangers; from pestering goblins to soul-sucking sorceresses. But one fact is assured, these nitwits might probably start a war. *~~~* Highest Rank: #256 in Humor *~~~* Awesome cover by @byefromhell ~* Copyright Β© 2019. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
