Thunder and lightning crackled as the four stood on the cliff hand in hand, looking at the floating ball of power that floated in the middle with electric lines connecting to a separate person.
Tears trickled down their faces as it was the late time they were going to see each other. They didn't want to go. But it was their job to protect. It was their job to provide life and somewhat natural to the planet that was once peaceful.

The Winged
Surviving can be difficult when you're only a few inches tall. Fanged beasts see you as their prey, every creature is bigger than you, and the world seems to work against small things. Not to mention the struggles of getting from place to place... but the worst of it all? Humans. Once a year, every year, summer sweeps over the forest. The sun warms the leaves and the damp melts away until the world of the Winged flourishes. Those warm months are when survival becomes the hardest.
