Magic. To some, it is a mundane tool used for everyday life. For others, specifically wizards, magic is an art and they devoted their lives to its practice. Banded together into magical guilds, they use their skills in search of fame and fortune. However, there are some that use magic as their only means of survival. Your family is very big on traditions and those traditions include, all boys in the family joining the military. This leads to lots of training during childhood and your parents had very high expectations which were their children all needed magic like them. The problem with you is that you have no magic, no matter how much your father makes you do intense training and your mother makes you study super hard.
