An encounter that makes the cells of your skin flutter, the rythmn of your heart beat increase, makes the palms of your hands sweaty and your cheeks flushed. Your throat feels dry, as if you are stranded in the middle of a desert, parched and fatigued. It leaves you in a puddle of mess. Quite literally, though, on the side of the pavement, in the middle of your dream campus. Your chest feels hot, warmth spreading through the middle of your blouse. Perhaps it's the nervousness from being in a new environment.
It's seems to be the exact opposite of it in reality. It is the sweet and sticky beverage of the person standing in front, furious yet helpless at the loss of a mandatory morning elixir, a divine cup of coffee before a day of hardwork.
The chance encounter seems a bit ordinary. The gorgeous deity left like a trainwreck once the sandstorm passes.
If you are one of those souls who believe that 'everything happens for a reason', be ready to dive in a world where this saying stands in its truest form.

Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least.
