Once there was a girl who lived in light. She was strong and smart, and commanded over the armies of the Day Court, until she was burned by one close to her.
Then she became an echo, living off the light of her memories to stay alive in the dim cell, and holding on to every last bit of strength to withstand their torture.
But after enough time had passed, her strength began to fade, as well as her will to live, and she began to give up,
That is, until the darkness began to sing.
Now, she has to face what is real, and what matters, because who knows how long anything will last?

A Song of Faithless Shadows
Gwyneth had always felt connected to her faith, a higher power presiding over her. That faith had shaken that devastating day those years ago, the day that went on to haunt her every nightmare for years to come. She's still trying to come back from it, to not only restore her faith in life and love, but her faith in herself. The sanctity of her spirit- she prayed for resolve. Every punch was a prayer. Daemati are feared and coveted throughout Prythian. Seren Marzena is one of the few among their ranks. When her power is revealed to Beron Vanserra, High Lord of the Autumn Court, he is quick to take advantage of her. Beron no longer trusts his eldest son, Eris, believing him to be allied with the Night Court. Beyond that, Beron seeks several dangerous artifacts that are protected by members of the Night Court. He seeks the Dread Trove and the swords created by Nesta Archeron. It is up to Seren to infiltrate the Night Court and learn all that Beron wishes to know. Her task will be harder than it seems. The Guardian of Night
Aether is the Guardian of the Night Court, sworn to protect her High Lord and the court she loves deeply. A role created by the Mother herself, she is soul tied to her High Lord Rhysand and must carry out the responsibilities given to her by her title, or at least she should have. Born on the outskirts of Velaris, she was discovered first not by her High Lord, but the King of Hybern. Used for her powers, she lives a century under Hybern's control. On a routine seizure of information and to wipe out Hybern assets, the Spymaster and General of the Night Court come across a woman, beaten and weak, supposed to be Hybern's weapon master. They take her back to Velaris to heal and meet with the High Lord, but as the soul tie snaps together, another bond does as well to the High Lords' brother, Prince Ascelin. Being thrown back into society, Aether must navigate healing her trauma, meeting her new found family, and grow into her role as the Mother gifted Guardian.
