Alyssa's life unravels when she discovers her sister's shocking betrayal: an affair with her husband. This is a small collection of poems that I have compiled over the years starting at age 15 stemming from my own personal experiences and observations of the world around me. I am hoping in the future for this to become a book. Trigger warning mentions of suicide, attempting suicide, self harm, addiction, OD, hanging, child abuse, depression, bullying, and psychological torture.

You never know how dependent you are on someone until they leave... I loved my best friend in silence for years, one drunken confession brought my whole world crashing down.

A girl, who had been in a long-term relationship, finds out that her partner has been cheating on her. Heartbroken and hurt, she eventually moves on and meets someone new, starting to develop feelings for this new person. As their relationship grows, her ex suddenly reappears, begging for forgiveness and asking for another chance, making her torn between the past and her blossoming future. Now, she faces a tough decision: to forgive her ex and return to something familiar, or to let go and fully embrace the new love she's starting to feel.
