Loki Laufeyson, born & raised as prince of Asgard alongside his brother. Despite having everything he could have ever wished for, he was cold, selfish, and arrogant. He lived in Asgard for all his years, hosting extravagant parties every night. Until one of those parties drew an unexpected guest. An old woman, ugly and old asked for shelter from a bitter storm and offered a simple rose in exchange. Loki, repulsed by her appearance turned her away. But, do not be fooled by appearances, for the woman turned away and transformed into a beautiful enchantress. Loki tried begging for forgiveness, but she had already seen that there was no love in his heart. So, she placed a curse on Asgard, and all those at the party. If Loki could love another and get their love in return, he would free his castle. If not, he would be doomed to remain a frost giant forever.

Enter, Amelia Stark. She lives with her father in New York City, and is considered "odd". Even though she has her friends, most of her block in the big apple sees her as nothing but a rich girl who isn't appreciating what she has. Her life consists of coffee, reading, building with her father and rejecting proposal after proposal from the cocky Steve Rodgers. But, when her father disappears on a trip, she learns of an entirely different life her father leads.

When the line between Hero and Villian starts to blur, will people fit into their roles that have been destined for them?? Or will the line become unreadable, forever?

In this alternate universe, Loki has been exiled to Midgard when Odin sees through his disguise (Think the end of Thor, The Dark World). He is haunted by his part in the death of his adoptive mother. He has visions of her that may be her talking to him from beyond the veil of death or just his overactive guilty conscience playing tricks on him. Either way, he has promised her he will do everything he can to make up for the things he's done. Even if it takes until the end of time itself. As part of his penance, Loki is restricted to Stark Tower until such time as the team believes he is no longer a threat to the world. As it gives him the opportunity to try to keep his promise, he doesn't argue. Much. Rachael has recently acquired magic from a relative. Shortly after, she was recruited by Stark and moved into Stark Tower to help the team. It's the one place she would never have expected to encounter the God of mischief himself, who happens to be the root of the magic she doesn't trust. (Long story short, Rachael's ancestor Bridgette fell for Loki when he was on Midgard nearly four hundred years ago. Eight months after Odin ordered his sons home, Bridgette had a daughter. Skip about five years of wishing for him, and Bridgette accepts that he's not coming back. She marries and has other children. One of these later children is Rachael's ancestor. The elder child is the ancestor of Rachael's distant cousin Nicolla, who was adopted by Rachael's grandmother and raised as Rachael's aunt. Still confused? Leave a note and I'll try to clear it up for you.) Missions start to come in that force them to work together, and force her to admit he's doing what he can to make up for the destruction he's caused. At first, Rachael refuses to acknowledge the attraction she feels, but he, being the annoying godling he is, seems unable to take no (or a stiff right hook) for an answer. Contains adult language, themes, and (eventually) some sexual content (smut).

In this alternate universe, Loki is sent to Midgard after the fight over the Aether. The Avengers question the Allfather's sanity, but agree they would rather have Loki where they can keep an eye on him. So, after some extensive remodeling, the Avengers Tower and neighboring facilities are now an extensive training ground with everything they'll need to reform the once proud Asgardian prince. Thor is hopeful. He wants the brother he thought Loki was back. Clint (Hawkeye) is waiting for a reason to exact some much deserved revenge. Steve (Captain America) has hope that even the most hardened of evil doers can be changed for the better. No one quite knows what Natasha (Black Widow) is thinking. Tony (Iron Man) resents having to share his tower with a psychopath. Bruce (Hulk) did not fly away to Sakar. He's brooding away in his own private wing. Scott (Antman) is under house arrest... at the tower. Wanda (Scarlet Witch) is still mourning her brother while nurturing a still very naive Vision. (Neither are living in the tower. Will only play small, fleeting parts in this story.) Dr Strange refuses to move into the tower. After all, it is more important to keep up with his work at the Sanctum. Peter (Spiderman) is spending his summer at the Tower, much to the dismay of Aunt May, who knows how dangerous this is, but does not know Loki has returned. Sam (Falcon) will follow Cap to the ends of the earth, but refuses to jump off the proverbial bridge just because Cap's doing it. Bucky (Winter Soldier) is trying to atone for his past misdeeds, while learning what exactly they were, but is living in Wakanda with T-challa (Black Panther) so neither will be playing a large role in this story. Then there's Aite. She's new. She's the Greek goddess of mischief, delusion, folly, and ruin. You'd think her and Loki would be the best of friends... Not so much.

Falling Wind gushes past me as I tumble through the void. Stars blur together in the never ending dark, and I can't help but feel cold. And it's not the kind of cold that fades with warmth. It's the kind that grips your heart, freezes your limbs, and quickens every breath. It forces you to take note of how trapped your brain is, how it has been locked away without a key. It's the kind of cold that reeks of fear filled pain. The kind that makes you long for death's arrival. Smack Slimy, rocky, stones slam into me. For a never ending moment I can't breathe, I can't move. Landing I've finally landed, and now I want nothing more than to keep falling. I want nothing more than to feel the familiar arrival of my death. - (This story is still under editing) Loki is sent to Midgard after the events of Ragnarok. In this story Frigga was only injured by the dark elves and Asgard was greatly damaged but still fixable. Because of Frigga Hela decided to form a strained peace with Odin but her hatred for him remains. Now Asgard is under repair and Loki is sent to live with the Avengers to 'protect Asgards people' *cough* more like protect *cough* Odin's pride *cough cough* And during Thor and Loki's time together many truths about Loki's past are dragged out into the open, causing wounds to heal, tear, and appear. ⚠️This story will contain graphic details of torture, self harm and other painful subjects so viewer discretion is advised.⚠️ Happy Reading📚 #1 in sadloki Officially completed 💅💅💅
