He grabbed the bluenettes hand as she attempted to run away from the blonde. "Dammit Marinette," he cursed, tugging her towards him, tightening his grasp around her arm so she was unable to escape. "Please, just listen to me."
He never had to beg for anything in his life, but he begged for her. He wanted her back, it was pretty evident through his eyes. But as for her, well, she didn't want anything to do with him.
She smiled bitterly, refusing to meet his eyes knowing how weak she was against those piercing yet beautiful eyes of his. "What do you want me to do, Agreste." she spat out his name, as if it was laced with venom.
This took Adrien back. She had never talked to her that way, it was always so loving and carefree.
"I want you to forgive me, please-"
"Forgive you," she scoffed. "No way in hell."

Adrien had gotten into one of the biggest arguments he had ever had with his father, leading him to run from his home as his alter ego, Chat Noir. They had grown apart since his mother's disappearance. Adrien always tried to speak with his father and try but he was always busy or away. He finally snapped at his father. But where would he go for the night? He had to find someone he could trust. Marinette wasn't expecting Chat Noir to show up on her balcony with red eyes filled with tears. Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. Marinette would've remained frozen in her spot if it weren't for the surrounding crowd that pulled her up and started to nudge her towards the stage. "No wait! Don't make me!"
