The Well (short story)

Alex and her mother Linnie, move to Portland, Maine in hopes to escape Alex's father Desmond who began stalking her after her parents divorce. Alex is stuck living in a house with a rather unsettling well. Will she finally be able to escape the grasps of her fathers distorted "love"? Or will she be pulled down to the dark side and follow her fathers footsteps of growing insanity.
