Lauren and her 7 year old brother Dylan live in a small town with their single mother. Dylan is autistic. When the family found out, the children's dad walked out of their family. Money is tight and there isn't anyway that Lauren could help her mom out other than babysitting Dylan.
Because of his autism, Dylan gets picked on at school and he doesn't have high self-esteem. Lauren is on her last year of elementary school then Dylan will be left to defend himself.
