Ochaco is warm and empathetic, who thinks about everything positively. Despite her usually bubbly demeanor, she has an extremely determined, focused, and somewhat intimidating attitude.
Bakugo is a know it all, smug and hot-headed basketball player but in contrast to his violent and aggressive behavior, he is smart and honest to the point to where it extends to his blunt demeanour.
Their friendship develops over coffee dates and study sessions as she is able to see through his brash attitude, and he acknowledges her hard work to achieve her goal.
