    Kaitlyn Gilbert was human and after her parents passed away, she moved to New York after getting an amazing schooling opportunity. She left on bad terms with her twin sister but got regularly visits from her younger brother. 
    
    While in New York, she met a guy that turned out to be the love of her life. They created a life together. They moved in, went of dates, met some of each other's family and even talked about their future. That is until her mind was erased and she was compelled to retreat back to her hometown. Unlucky for her, a couple of months after moving back, she was turned into a creature of the night and all those lost memories of him and her life with him was restored.
