Aru just came out with her latest album, the majority breakup and love songs she'd written during and after her most recent relationship, which the media seemed to be having a field day on speculating why they'd broken up. Nobody seems to judge her based on who she is. All she was to the world was another rich and famous singer/songwriter. But Aru runs into a particular someone who chooses to look past all her scars and her fame, and she finds the one person who gets where she's coming from. What starts out as something that isn't as fake as they think it is or will be turns into what couldn't be more real. Will they be able to tolerate what others couldn't together? It's a few days after Aru's birthday, and the Pandava training is in full swing. Just now, it's more rigorous, since the Potatoes are going to have to use 'normal weapons'. Aiden calls in a favor from a friend of his, which leads to a chain reaction of events. *This story consists of fluff, and angst, mainly. The farthest I go from fluff is kiss scenes, so..... yeah. Nothing inappropriate though. This story contains: Jealous Rudy (I enjoyed writing him) Overprotective Aiden (I enjoyed writing him too) Matchmakers Aru and Brynne (Heck, they were the most fun to write) Necromancy (I am fascinated by that subject to write) A death prophecy (Cause why not?!) Aru Shah and The Curse of Kamadeva (DISCONTINUED)
(Aru x Aiden forever :D) (Also, this takes place right after Aru Shah and The City Of Gold.) The first time that the pandavas met Kamadeva, it went well. They returned his bow, and he gave them magical gifts. This time, however, things go sour. Kamadeva curses Aru, saying that she is doomed to fall in love with someone who didn't love her back. (Looks like he learned a few tricks from Aphrodite...) Fortunately... that curse might not be true. Aru's POV- I've always liked Aiden. Forever, and ever, and ever... But now he knows. I just feel SO AWKWARD around him. (I mean like, more than I already do, obviously.) After he kissed me... we both try to forget it ever happened, even if I don't want to. I... I feel like he wants nothing to do with me. Actually, I don't think that kiss changed anything. We still try our best to avoid talking to each other one-on-one. That might not be possible with Kamadeva's curse though... Aiden's POV- I've always thought of Aru as a friend for the past few years, but somewhere along the way... things changed. I started to view her differently. I noticed things that I never did before... The way her hair was always tucked behind her ear, the way that her skin glowed when she was in battle, the way her eyes were filled with such beauty... Why am I noticing them now? Did... something change between us? And my biggest question of all... why DID I kiss her?Complete
