A very timid girl who has just moved to the small coastal town of PennySide.
Even though she seemed shy, she was special. Not at all like the people that lived in little PennySide. She was a werewolf.

She and her parents had just moved from their beloved pack house in the mountains. Her parents were insisting on being "progressive" - trying something new, they said.
But honestly she didn't like the small town, she preferred enjoying her beautiful, mountainous home and reveling in its natural beauty.
Boring old PennySide could never be a substitute for that.

But boring old PennySide wasn't just that. It was also hiding dark, harrowing secrets - and Shyné knew that.
She knew that the recent rumours of werewolf attacks were not just tall tales. And the fact that nobody seemed to be doing anything about them, only made her want to leave the town even more.

Little did she know that she'd meet the boy of her dreams - a boy who made staying in PennySide a little worth while.

He was perfect in her eyes, the more they got to know each other the more things they seemed to have in common. He was sweet, polite and even helped her with homework from time to time, not to mention he was very handsome with the most captivating eyes she had ever seen. She could spend hours just admiring them.

But behind those eyes there was a secret. One that might just be as ironic as they come.
