"why do you like to be alone" I said. He turned around, football in hand. His smile started to fade and I wondered if I had said something wrong.
"it gives me time to think about things; it's like I don't have to deal with anyones pressures anymore. I think that everyone wants me to become some big football player. All I really want from life is to have fun with my friends, play my guitar and be with you."
When he said that, it felt so right. I realized that I loved him. I loved him so much more than I ever thought I could. I pulled him close to me and kissed him. I didn't care if he was still sweaty from fooball, I loved him and that's all that matters.
