Ban Ryu's heart slipped from his grasp the very first time that he looked into Soo Yeon's eyes.  But she was the daughter of his father's nemesis.  And, therefore, forbidden.  Then, to make matters worse, his wealth and status were stripped from him when his adoptive father, Minister Park, was convicted of treason and sentenced to death.  Only one problem remained for Ban Ryu.  Soo Yeon refused to take no for an answer...

This story is a fanfiction based upon the Korean drama, Hwarang.  Though I created a few new characters for this book, Jin Heung, Ban Ryu, Soo Ho, Soo Yeon, and her father and the entire plot of Hwarang, upon which the plot of this novel is based, were the creation of those who wrote Hwarang.  If you have not yet watched Hwarang but intend to, please don't read this book yet.  It will spoil the plot for you.  But if you are ready to find out what happens to Ban Ryu next, then read on!
