Every 4 years, Tenebris visits the city of Aurora, shrouding it in
total darkness, and every living being slips into psychological death as if
infected by a virus of the consciousness. This death lasts for a period of 4
days, during which anarchy and societal collapse occur and pandemonium raids
the city. People act under the will of Tenebris instead of their own – the
streets are rife with massacres, rape, destruction, an uncontrollable unleash
of mankind’s most primal desires. This is a tragic downfall of Aurora, which is
normally peaceful and filled with kindness, righteousness, and love.

When the clock strikes 12 on the 4th day, a vocalized
tune resonates throughout the city and the citizens wake. The city then undergoes
reconstruction and mourning, a process that takes about a year. Then three
years later, Tenebris revisits.
