I looked at the huge circus in front of me and at my mother as the gaunt, grey
sky boomed with loud thunder. She stood in mid air whimpering in pain. A
strong invisible force held me back from helping her. Tears rolled down my
cheeks because of my helplessness and anger.
Suddenly I could move. I took a step towards the circus but froze in my tracks
when I watched my mom fall from the highest point in the circus.
"MOM" I yelled, waking up with a jolt.

She perfectly fits the category of 'A little sass and a lot of badass'. She's 18,
has great friends, and has a sweet family. A sweet yet incomplete family.
She always believed her life to be as simple as that of anyone else's. An
exhausting routine, some family secrets and the usual bittersweet life.
