Evan is snatched from Earth and taken to Mars, where martians use his essence to shape-shift into humans. He can never go back home, so he stays with General Thomas James of HECO, a division of the government that collects humans to help the young martians. But Evan starts to notice that martians are going missing. Everyone tells him it's just the Elders pleasing the Gods with sacrifices, but Even isn't so sure, and now that he can't go back to Earth, he figures he'll look into it.
A/N: So yeah, weird story idea I had, thought I do it. There's smut in almost every chapter, so be warned. There is also some brief non-consensual sex that turns very, very consensual

I will try to catch any proofreading issues and continuity errors, but I can't promise anything exciting. This is also a very dark paranormal romance with a fox shifter omega and a non-shifter alpha. I'd describe it as spicy but with lots of emotional angst. It's got hurt/comfort galore and an age gap (28 and 41). It features lots of knotting, scenting, mpreg, explicit scenes of cutting and self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual abuse (in the past, not between the two MMCs), dubcon and issues of consent.
