This is a short story about a girl with body dysmorphic disorder. Ingrid doesn't like what she sees reflected back to her - not in the mirror, and not what she sees in the eyes of society. She believes that she's hideous. Disfigured. Broken. Inside and out. But it's the outside that plagues her most. The philosophy of wabi sabi tells her that her cracks are what make her beautiful. Yet Ingrid can't even imagine her name and 'beautiful' in the same sentence.
