This novel is a romance-tinged story about unrequited love. It begins with a teen fellow discovering something horrible in a house. He sees the victim on the bed, bleeding from the mouth, trying to write something on a piece of paper. It was unexpected. However, the victim had written a clue for the teen to find. If he could find those clues, he would find the love of his life.

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents are either the product of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously, and any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead is entirely coincidental.

Rose and Swan Boarding School's social heirarchy is disrupted with the arrival of a new student who catches the eye of the star of the hockey team. Can Edward and Gaveston keep their relationship a secret from the malicious student body and faculty? Definitely not. Rose and Swan is a highly religious boarding school nestled deep in the mountains. It's the perfect place to hide, but Edward is about to find out you can't hide from yourself. He had no problem hiding his sexuality, not until Piers Gaveston, his new roommate, shows up. Based loosely on Kit Marlowe's play 'Edward II'. Feels like a teen rom-com. I wrote this as the book I wished I'd had as a teenager, that is to say I wanted it to be a sort of comforting, relatable world, as well as genuinely fun. That said it does follow the basic plot of the play so there are some unsettling scenes. Namely Chapters: 15, and 23 on. (If you think the cover is too gay I assure you it's what Marlowe would have wanted. If you think the book is too gay I PROMISE you, it's what Marlowe would have wanted). Trigger/Content Warning: some graphic violence that may be disturbing to some readers (chapters 21--on, Epilogue is fine). Some teenage sexuality (teenagers kiss, it is implied teenagers have sex, chapter 19 primarily, but all scenes are PG-13 level sensuality). Brief teenage level crude humor. Self harm is discussed throughout (worst depiction in chapter 14). Conversion therapy discussed at length and briefly depicted (Chapter 15). A character suffers from gender dyphoria and is dead-named on page (chapter 20). Graphic violence/torture after Chapter 21. Be aware of your mental state and seek help as needed.

RJ, an orphan who has spent his life in the shadows of uncertainty, works as a househelp, moving from one contract job to another in order to survive. Though he's learned to cope with his past and keep his emotions buried, there's one thing he can never erase: his first love, Xavier. They were once inseparable, two souls who promised to meet again, but Xavier disappeared from his life without a trace. RJ waited in vain, but Xavier never showed up. Heartbroken and abandoned, RJ gave up on the hope of a love that never was. Xavier, now a successful movie director, does not recognize RJ. The years have dimmed his memory, and he has no recollection of the boy he once promised to meet. Despite this, there is an undeniable pull between them-a connection Xavier can't explain but feels strongly. As he grows more drawn to RJ, Xavier becomes determined to win his attention and love. He enlists the help of his mother and his best friend to understand why RJ affects him so deeply. As their paths continue to cross, RJ is torn between the fear of rejection and the hope of rekindling a love that never truly died. Xavier, on the other hand, is about to confront the truth of his past and the love he lost. When Xavier finally discovers the truth-that RJ is the same boy he once loved and abandoned-he must decide whether to embrace their past and their love or let it go forever. Will Xavier remember the boy he once loved, or will he choose to move on, leaving RJ to carry the weight of their unspoken love forever?
