The Last Dinosaur
In this children's story, the story is about a boy who has just moved in with his little sister and his widowed father, where he and his sister discover a living dinosaur in an abandoned treehouse. They both quickly befriend the dinosaur and name it Spartacus. However, the father of the two kids is hired by a biotechnology company that knows about the existence of this dinosaur, where they want him to hunt down this dinosaur and deliver it to the company. This story was somewhat inspired by the movie The Hunter (2011), which is an adaptation of a book of the same name written by Julia Leigh that was released in 1999. Also, Spartacus was inspired by one of the hybrid dinosaurs from the second discarded script of Jurassic Park IV written by John Sayles. The cover art was done by Jynx (also known as xformalde-hyde on Tumblr).
