A few friends in highschool hear some rumors going around about a "doomsday bomb", they decide they'll see what it's about tomorrow during the weekend when they have more time. The group have a sleepover, and after seeing they arent in the room they fell asleep in, but in a bunker, they realize.. the rumor is true.
(I'm a slow worker and week-long breaks are part of my work schedule.)

One day when Laura is walking home from the High school bus stop, she notices something in the corner of her eye. A black truck with tinted windows just sitting on the corner with the head lights and engine running. She turns back around and starts to walk toward her house as the truck engine gets louder. Global warming is a huge problem for the world, and it's increasing by the day.... Even in Ohio. The winters, which are supposed to be freezing, are as hot as it would be down south. Buildings catch on fire multiple times a week, and still there are people taking no action whatsoever to delay the Earth from dying. However, four middle school kids decide to take action, coming up with an elaborate plan to find out the cause, and potentially stop it from worsening. The only problem is if it's already too late....The Earth might already be destroyed. I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India.
