Even though Schlatt had left his son Tubbo in the middle of nowhere in a cardboard box to be found by a family that would take him in he couldn't help but wonder how life would've been if he was able to obtain and sustain enough money to raise the kid.
He just hopes that when he sees him again that his son hasn't forgotten him and he has a chance to make things right after years of abandonment.

"Care?" Tubbo's sleepy voice projected through her phone's small speakers. Her attention was then focused on why the boy was awake instead of the book in her hand. She'd read the book enough times to know exactly what it said and what was to come next anyway. "Why are you awake? It's five in the morning for you." Caroline asked, voice a hushed whisper as to not wake her parents and siblings. The hour had just bypassed midnight. She hadn't even noticed, being too engrossed in her book. "I had a rather frightening nightmare." The boy whispered, almost as if he were embarrassed. Her eyebrows furrowed in concern as her head cocked to the side. She slipped a small sticky note into her book as a bookmark and shut the book gently. "Wanna talk about it?" She asked, desperately wanting to hug her best friend and comb her fingers through his dark hair to calm him. "Not really, but could you talk to me about your book? Your voice seems to relax me." His voice was muffled by the pillow but not enough that she couldn't hear. She hummed in agreement with a small smile, pushing her book to the side. She walked to her bed and started explaining the details of her favorite book, Deathly Hollows. The boy had learned more about the books from the American girl than he had from the movies or than he ever would if he were to read them. Instead of it being forced upon him, Tubbo knows about a curse the "Manburg" president had inflicted on him. It never bothered him, until the age limit came.
