[Slow Brew Series 1 of 2] [Completed] Look, I didn't mean to embarrass myself the first time I walked into Brewing Grounds. Or the second. Or...every other time since. But something about the place-and the barista with the messy ponytail and the glasses that she pushes up her nose-makes me forget how to form actual sentences. Bea. Her name's Bea. This is about you. This is a book but not a book. I don't know if that makes sense but, well here it goes. This is about a guy. A guy who has been there in my life for so long that I can't imagine him not being there anymore. A guy who is mean, rude and idiotic to me but also sweet, caring and loving. A guy who knows me inside out. A guy who even with his flaws is just perfect. A guy whose smile can melt all my problems away. A guy whose sadness, I can't stand to see. A guy who will never see me the way I see him. A guy who can never be mine. This is about him. This is about my feelings for him. This is for you AK. NOTE: This is a book about a girl and a boy. I Don't Like You
I felt a hand under my chin and then I was looking right into Aiden's eyes. "You know that I care about you, right?" He used the same hushed tone. Aiden cared about me? Well, I knew he cared about me, but I didn't know he cared about me. It makes sense. I shrugged. "I don't know," I replied back. "Well, I do. I care about you so much." He whispered. His next move surprised me. He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on my lips that lasted about two seconds before backing away. I looked at the ground, shocked. Oh my god. Aiden just kissed me. Again. And I liked it. A lot. *** Corey Hale and Aiden Praxston don't like each other. At all. Never have, never will. She hates him and he hates her; so she thinks. What Corey doesn't know is that Aiden doesn't, in fact, hate her. He feels the complete opposite. One of Aiden's past relationships turned him into the person he is today; arrogant, selfish, rude, and he vowed to never love again. He's a complete Badass. Girls, Drinking, and getting high is his life now. Although, he soon realizes that he can't hide his true feelings about Corey. So when Aiden's past comes back to take revenge and could affect the girl he cares about, you could only imagine what would happen. However, how can he protect her without letting the truth go? If it does get out, it could be a total repeat of what happened before. That couldn't happen. Not again. Tossing and turning over the mattress, My breath heavily and barely dispersed. The vedios in my mind played all night, Of you, me, us, and just us. Everything about you, Deserves to be written in poetry. For it's my confession of my fondness, That may never be your priority. You make me witness heaven, Even when I'm fighting devils inside me. The halo of your existence, Is more than that of any cherub's sheen. Some conversations left unspoken, Might stay like this till eternity. Some confessions left forbidden, Might always be hidden. A spark of a moon called, 'you', Is enough to light up my world. Allow me to draw a lilac light, Of deep affection that'll never be blurred. How are you so flawless in my eyes? Shouldn't you be same as others? Why this heart gave you an exceptional place, And adores you much more than you see in words. Becoming my home, rose, and religion, In me, you rose a happier version And how, suddenly all the love songs are about you? Tell me, have I fallen or it's just attraction? Well, 'just attraction' is what they say, If yes, then damn, this attraction is so hard, That I mention you whenever I pray, And I can't even explain why I adore you, more and more, day by day. I am cringing but I wrote these to distract myself from my exams, pardon me for this. "Randomly made perfectly flawed" I hope you all will enjoy these poems as much as I had enjoyed jotting the small phrases on a rough paper and making it in something rhythmic.❤ Some said my poems made them cry and some said it made them laugh? Some made them smile some made them sad. Some said it's my randomness and some said it's lovely!?
