"The death of teen sensation Luke Hemmings, came as a shock to everyone. Nobody saw it coming.

The young man was reported to have been in the hospital for several long weeks, after he was caught in a car crash.

Cause of Death: Loss of blood and head trauma.

It was a long and painful fight for Luke to hold on but, the 5 Seconds of Summer singer and guitarist, decided he couldn't hold on any longer.

Luke Hemmings was pronounced dead just moments ago. The doctors said that he had gone into convulsions and his heart had stuttered.

All attempts were futile. But, Luke fought hard. He will be greatly missed.

His friends and family ask for your support and ask that you respect their privacy as they grieve in peace.

We loved Luke, his music, and his band. He will be remarkably missed."
