The first one I dare say I consider the jewel in my crown of stories is my "OUTERBANKS SEASON 4" Yep! And don't worry, it has nothing to do with the treasure that ultimately led to JJ's death. This treasure for my own season is one I'm creating from scratch, since I'm basing it on historical factors. The beginning will be the same as the beginning of the 4th season but I'll change everything in the first chapter. Alright, I don't know where to begin. My name is Anaya Matthew and... I'm turning into a freakn' robot! Richie: "Don't say it like that Anaya! You'll scare them before they've even opened the book. You've got one job, tell them what the darn book is about and let me get back to work." I clear my throat, It was only a few days ago when my little brother Richie came across a hidden cellar on our Grandfathers property in the woods of Dayton California. Inside, we were attacked by things called Twelve and Two, secret government experiments branded with the logo "The H.E.R.O.S PROJECT" that fused on our backs. And... we are running out of time. The experiments are taking over our bodies as they blanket our skin with their shiny metal coatings and technology. But, Richie and his genius wierdo friends think there's a cure. I hope they can find it in time before I'm forced to leave the love of my life and my best friend Tristian behind to the terrifying world Number Twelve is submerging me into. --------- Hey!!! There's mystery's that need solving, teenager-high school problems, dating through an awkward time in your life (relatable), and learning to cope with siblings, especially siblings that can't stay out of trouble and constantly start fires. Mermaids, beaches, fairies! this place is awesome. someone then snatched the book out my hands. "Mermaids? what is this crap?" I looked up to see Cynthia and her clique. "why do you carry this thing around with you all the time?" I stood up and held out my hand. "give it back." "why? it's not like you can read it, you're stupid." Her words didn't mean anything to me but those words are going to come back to me tonight and punch me in the face. "How old are you? aren't you like 16 and reading this children's book?" How long have you been here Michelle? Tears welled up in my eyes. I knew what was coming next. "answer me, hoe!" "10 years" I mumbled. "10 years and still haven't been adopted? that's sad. why are you still living? no one loves you. no one ever will. I bet your parents crashed their car on purpose just to get away from you." I had enough. I threw myself at her. I slammed my fists into her pretty face. then her clique joined in. I was outnumbered. Everything got blurry after the second kick. Fear
All I've ever known is fear, and a strange dream...a reoccurring nightmare, where someone is hunting me, chasing me, never gaining or receding, in a strange place where everything is bathed in an orange hue. I live in a grey world where everyone is the same....if anyone finds out I'm not 'normal', it will mean a trip to the 'mind doctor, who I fear more than the nightmares. I could lose what little independence I have...it's all I own, all I am. Until one day, the dream finds me... I wake from the latest nightmare, and find a note warning of danger, and that 'they' are coming. When I wake and hear someone speaking - that I can't see, but can feel...who tells me that I am not who I think I am....I have nowhere to run... Should I listen? Wait? In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are.
