His face stays the same, as if it's made out of stone.

"...Sure."

"What...?"

"You asked, and I gave you an answer: sure. Don't act so surprised." He says as he walks away as the sun sets.

As a moment of silence passes, nothing but the wind blows, and I come to my senses.

My eyes widen and my cheeks turn into a shade of pink.

"He said yes..."
